The American Advertising Federation of the Emerald Coast is a local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, the national organization that represents over 50,000 advertising professionals from every aspect of the industry. Since 1992, AAFEC (formerly ECAF) has represented Okaloosa and Walton Counties advertising professionals, provided professional development, encouragement and support for advertising education and professional development.
AAFEC serves the public of Northwest Florida by supporting local charities and educational institutions, providing marketing and advertising advice and support and scholarships to deserving students.
The AAF 4th District (4AAF) is comprised of 21 local federations throughout Florida and the Caribbean representing nearly 1,500 members. 4AAF is different from any other organization because we have a three level, multi-dimensional network of professionals that represent all disciplines of advertising. Its goal is to educate advertising professionals and students, monitor legislative issues, recognize excellence, drive traffic to all businesses, and help build our economy. Your involvement is key to that.
American Advertising Federation
The American Advertising Federation (AAF), headquartered in Washington, D.C., acts as the “Unifying Voice for Advertising.” The AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. The AAF has a national network of 200 ad clubs located in ad communities across the country. Through its 226 college chapters, the AAF provides 8,000 advertising students with real-world case studies and recruitment connections to corporate America. The AAF also has nearly 100 blue-chip corporate members that are advertisers, agencies and media companies, comprising the nation’s leading brands and corporations.
